AAJA-Chicago is pleased to announce that the Chicago Tribune Foundation has awarded the chapter $2,500 to support our internship program. Every year the chapter partners with two media organizations in Chicago to hire summer interns from local universities. AAJA-Chicago provides the interns with a $2,500 stipend. The programs help further one of AAJA’s missions: to foster the next generation of journalists and increase the diversity of our newsrooms.
This year, AAJA-Chicago will work with the Chicago Tribune and WBEZ. Stay tuned for more details on how to apply for the internships.
